Ollie attends OzWater Conference in Sydney
Ozwater is the Australian Water Association's biennial event which brings the water community together to talk policy, technology, business and the environment. This year it was held between the 4 th – 8 th March at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Thousands of delegates attended this event and discussed issues such as climate change and its possible impacts, advances in technology, water reuse and desalination and more.
Jane Stewart attended each day of the conference and was on hand to show interested participants through the new Ollie’s Island program and particularly the sections relating to water. The overall response was one of great interest in how water issues had been weaved throughout the content of the program. Some water educators were keen to get back and use the resource within their classroom activities and one educator was planning to use it in her community outreach activities within her local council.
