Reducing our Impact on the Environment

At Environment Australia we believe in setting an example for all Australians by creating an environmentally friendly workplace. We have compost and recycling bins everywhere in our buildings and every new person is taught how to sort their rubbish and use the bins properly. No one is allowed to have a rubbish bin under their desk, to make sure they sort their rubbish and put it straight in the right bin!

We use recycled products, such as recycled paper, and send documents electronically to reduce paper use. Our lights are turned on and off by light sensors, so electricity is not wasted lighting an empty room or office. We are all encouraged to walk, ride or catch a bus to work.
