Bayswater South Primary School

Ollie and Jane Stewart talk to students at Bayswater South Primary School

In 2003 Bayswater South Primary School has created a new initiative called Greening the Future, which involves teachers, students and the wider school community. Their goal is to create a fully sustainable school and then to promote sustainable practices within their community. Bayswater South’s vision is of students, staff and parents in partnership being peaceful, proud and responsible for the environment that they are living, working and playing in.

The Initiative was spearheaded by Bayswater South teacher, Deborah Waters. Deborah started by creating an environmental vision statement for the school.
