Recycling Whitegoods in Australia

Whitegoods is the name given to large household appliances like refrigerators, washing machines, clothes driers and air conditioners.

These appliances can all be recycled. Often they contain parts like circuit boards, motors and compressors, which can be reused in new appliances. Old and broken whitegoods can also be pulled apart and the aluminium, steel and plastic recycled into new products.
