Cars create pollution

In large cities around the world, cars, trucks and buses are a major source of air pollution. They emit (or give out) fumes that can contain carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons, lead and particulates. These fumes can be very dangerous once they are released into the air and can irritate your eyes, nose, throat and lungs.
