How the World’s Resources are Distributed

At the moment, people in the richer countries of the world, like the United States, Canada, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Western Europe, make up only 20% of the world’s population. But we have more than 80% of all the money in the world, and use about 80% of all the resources in the world. This means that we also use most of the world’s energy supply, and produce most of the waste and most of the pollution.
