Cleaning up our litter problem

Keep our environment clean by putting your rubbish in either a rubbish bin or recycling container. If there are no bins nearby, keep your rubbish until you find one. Never leave rubbish in parks or forests – take a spare plastic bag with you to take any leftover food, containers and other waste with you.

You can also help by picking up other people’s litter. Make sure you use a plastic bag or wear gloves for safety, and don’t touch sharp or dangerous objects.
