Recycling AppliancesLarge household appliances like refrigerators, washing machines, clothes driers and air conditioners can all be recycled. Often they contain parts like circuit boards, motors and compressors, which can be reused in new appliances. Old and broken appliances can also be pulled apart and the steel, aluminum, plastic and other materials can be recycled into new products.
