Some products cause harm to the environment when they are being made or when we use them. To be a Smart Shopper, check the packaging and watch for these labels:

Biodegradable - choose biodegradable products as they break down easily and cause less damage to the environment.

Made from Plantation Timber - these products are made from plantation timber and not from old-growth forests.

Biobased - Biobased products are renewable agricultural products, made from plant or animal material, that break down more easily and safely in the environment.
