Ollie attends a Queensland Science Day

On the 30th April 2007 Anne Stünzner, the Executive Officer at the Central Queensland Forest Association, presented the Ollie’s Island program at a local community science day.  This community event was organised by CSIRO for local schools and was the first year that the forestry was invited to join in on the day’s activities.

Anne showed the 20 or so teachers that attended her workshop a range of materials on the forestry industry in Australia, including the eBook and activities from the Ollie’s Island Program.  Anne said that all participants enjoyed the interactive content of the Ollie program.
