Origin Energy and Ollie Education Section
 Origin Energy recently added a new Education
section to its website
with the launch of their sponsorship of the "Ollie Saves the Planet" Program.
It is designed to help:
- understand the different forms of energy
- understand why it is necessary to conserve energy
- learn ways to reduce personal energy usage
'Ollie Saves the Planet' Activities
Here you will find fun interactive activities and projects for 5-13
year olds to complete. The aim is to have some fun and learn about
energy with the help
of a world-beating educational IT product that uses a cast of cartoon mates,
headed by Ollie, who cycle and skateboard their way to saving the planet.

Learn about energy with some help from Ollie and Origin Energy by simply reading
through our energy information screens and Ollie's word check.
'Ollie Saves the Planet' Educators resources
Parents and educators can download a ‘Unit of Work’ designed to
supplement learning from the activities provided on the Origin Energy website.
The Unit of Work outlines a range of alternative ways to use the interactive
activities and provides a curriculum structure for teachers to plan classes.
