Ollie helps launch the Sustainable Schools Program in Victoria

Ollie with Ministers

Lynne Kosky, Pat Armstrong (Gould League), David Kemp, Eric Bottomley (CERES) and Ollie at the launch.

The pilot program for Sustainable Schools in Victoria was launched at Antonio Park Primary School in July this year.

The Federal Environment Minister, the Hon Dr David Kemp, MP, and State Education Minister, the Hon Lynne Kosky, MLA, officially launched the program, while Ollie was on hand to meet the kids and join in the festivities!

The Sustainable Schools program encourages schools and the local community to work together to achieve measurable improvements in biodiversity, waste reduction, and efficient water and energy use.

Each of the fifty pilot schools in Victoria have received free copies of the Ollie Saves the Planet Program to help them work towards their goal of becoming a Sustainable School.
