OLLIE GROWS UP !!!!

Four years since the release of the original Ollie Recycles Program, Ollie and his friends have grown up and expanded their environmental outlook. Ollie's creators have grown up too and with their international success, are set to release a new and upgraded Ollie Program in Australia.

The new program is titled "Ollie Saves the Planet" with the accompanying catch cry "Join him to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Rethink." This program introduces the concept of sustainability around the action issues of Waste, Water, Energy, Air and Biodiversity.

Like the original Ollie Recycles Program, the Ollie Saves the Planet Program leads the way in interactive environmental education by bringing the issues of Waste, Water, Energy, Air and Biodiversity together in one program under the organising principle of Sustainability. Often these topics are taught in isolation within the school curriculum and the broader community.

The creators of the new program believe the time has come to create a one-stop shop for teachers, students and parents where all these issues can be brought together and presented in the context of sustainability. This will lead to greater understanding of the interconnectedness of these issues and the role we all play in achieving sustainability in our communities and around the planet.
