Ollie attends Australian Water Association Conference in Alice Springs
The Australian Water Association (AWA) convened its second National Water Education Conference from 18-21 April 2006 at the Alice Springs Convention Centre. The 2nd National Education Conference was bigger and better than the first and offered a range of workshops and presentations around issues of water education.
The Ollie’s Island Program was delivered within the stream titled “Leading the Way” and managed to highlight waters issues within the concept of sustainable consumption. Jane Stewart acknowledged the Australian Water Association for their financial support of the program and for their vision of comprehensive water education in communities throughout Australia.
