Partnership with Landcare Australia

Landcare Australia and Sensis have formed a partnership to help raise community awareness of environmental issues, and to recognise groups that have made outstanding contributions to the environment across Australia. Landcare volunteer programs feature on the White Pages® directory covers and on the White Pages OnLine site as part of the White Pages® directory 2002 "Our Environment" theme.

We are also working with Landcare Australia to increase national participation in the BookMuncher® Directory Recycling Program in order to reduce waste, preserve resources and reduce pressure on landfill. Other elements of the partnership include sponsorship of the 2001 and 2003 biennial State Landcare Awards, in conjunction with the 2002 and 2004 biennial National Landcare Awards.
