Waste Reduction Traveling Trunk

The Recycling and Solid Waste office in Waukesha County, Wisconsin has
assembled three Waste Reduction Traveling Trunks packed with fun,
informative and engaging activities. The Traveling Trunks are designed
to meet the different needs of students in grades K-2, 3-5 and 6-8. Any
teacher in Waukesha County can borrow a trunk free for a two-week loan
period.

The objective of the trunks is to supply teachers with a broad
range of educational tools to help teach students the concepts of waste
reduction, reuse, recycling and composting...all in one place.

One of the highlights of the Traveling Trunks is the Ollie Saves the Planet CD ROM. It is an entertaining and extremely well planned
resource for teaching the many aspects of sustainability. The Waukesha
County Recycling Office is sure that Ollie will be a big hit with kids
in Wisconsin!
