Getting ready to recycle
Before you put your plastic bottles out to be recycled:

  • Take off the lids.
  • Wash the bottles.
  • Squash the bottles flat, so they take up less space.

 
Look for these symbols on the bottom of plastic bottles, which mean that they can be recycled:
