Whether it's a music CD, a computer casing and circuit board, furniture or hygienic film wrap used to protect food, our homes and schools would look very different without plastic.

The plastics and chemicals industries are Australia's fourth largest manufacturing sector and provide jobs for more than 77,000 people. By representing plastics and chemicals companies in meetings with governments and other industry groups, PACIA ensures that the economic value of the plastics and chemicals industries is not overlooked. By talking with community groups, PACIA also helps all members of our community understand what an important contribution chemicals and plastics make to our standard of living.
