Sustainability Programs

Enviro Partnerships - Community Support Program

CWW's Enviro Partnerships initiative is aimed at delivering broad-based environmental programs in partnership with and for our community.

The Community Support Program is a grants scheme that operates as part of Enviro Partnerships. It aims to facilitate and support community initiatives towards improving the local environment. The Community Support Program offers financial and in-kind assistance to community, school and industry groups within City West Water's service area. Enviro Partnerships - Industry Initiatives

Our Enviro Partnerships initiative focuses on the development of water conservation, cleaner production and waste management programs for industry, councils and developers operating within our area. Our water conservation work includes water audits of some of our largest water customers. The cleaner production work links in to an existing cleaner production partnership we have been operating with EPA Victoria. As part of this work, we are producing a cleaner production handbook to help customers implement cleaner production.

Community Education

City West Water Staff are available to give presentations on water conservation and other related matters to service clubs, garden clubs, community and any other groups.Wilbur Water Drop

City West Water Education Officers are available to deliver water conservation and water related presentations to school groups, and have water resource kits available for primary and secondary teachers.
