Visy Closed Loop - Special Events Recycling

This division was created to assist event organisers and venue managers balance the need to showcase an event as environmentally aware, with the financial realities of purchasing cost-effective packaging.

Visy Special Events integrates the extensive resources of the Visy Industries group in packaging supply, waste collection, recycling and disposal. Visy Special Events at present manages "closed loop" recycling services for major Australian events including the Royal Sydney Easter Show, Sydney's Mardi Gras, Melbourne Formula One Grand Prix and the Australian Tennis Open.

Education

Visy Recycling is committed to providing community education and marketing to inform residents, students and the general community about recycling services. This ensures increased recycling participation rates, and increased recycling yields.

By implementing effective awareness and education campaigns, we make a positive contribution to informing and empowering Australians and influencing their recycling behaviour.
